My name is Amy, and I have been painting murals since June 2013

This all started one day after chatting with some coaches at a gymnastics club about some ideas to fill the barren walls that would welcome the young students and make them feel more at home. They also wanted the murals to become conversation starters for the coaches and the young students in order to spark their passion, creativity and their desire to explore.  I realized this was an amazing opportunity to explore my art skills and put them to the test.

Growing up with an artist mother, I learned many of my skills off her. Additionally I did take art classes outside of school. Drawing or painting doesn't feel like a chore to me, it feels natural. It's almost like therapy to me. It's a place where I can drift into and create masterpieces that everyone can enjoy. That overall, is the main reason I love doing murals. I love creating images that create infinite joy to the viewers.

Thanks TO:
My mother, Janey who has been an amazing support during all of my projects. I also need to give thanks to Stampede City Gymnastics Club for letting me use their walls for practice and all their help with this career. I must also thank all my friends for their help with drawings, support, or giving me massages to my impeccably sore shoulders after painting, for without you, these projects would still be a work in progress. Thanks.
